Perversie en pervertering van de overdracht
Summary
In the course of psychoanalytic investigation of narcissistic disorders, much more has become known about the psychodynamics of perversions. Sometimes perverse mechanisms can be found in patients with narcissistic and neurotic disorders, while the perverse ‘style’ might on occasion be attractive for anybody. The perverse mechanism consists of a splitting of the Ego, regression to an idealized anal world and a banishment of the relationship with reality. Sublimation, narcissistic and perverse conflict solutions can co-exist in a dynamic interrelationship in which any one can turn into any other. The so-called transference perversion is conceptualized as a dynamic process in which annihilation anxiety at a level of deep dependency in the transference is defended by a process of perverting.
